Your academic career at Michigan Tech begins with orientation. It's an excellent time to familiarize yourself with available student resources.
Graduate Student Orientation
Students who are blending on-campus and online learning will participate in new student orientation.
Students who are online learners only may complete a self-paced online orientation and can meet the basic Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) requirement through a separate online training. View our online resources for more information.

Undergraduate Student Orientation
Students who are supplementing their on-campus experience with online courses participate in Michigan Tech's O Week. Find out more about orientation on our Admissions Orientation website or on our Orientation website.
There's a special orientation for dual enrollment students. They will automatically be contacted by the Admissions Office.
Non-degree seeking students don't need to participate in a formal orientation.
