Online Courses and Registration

Our course listing and registration system makes choosing and registering for online classes quick and easy.

Finding Available Courses 

Michigan Tech offers a variety of accredited online degree programs, certificates, and courses using our state-of-the-art learning management system and methodologies.

If you are a prospective student,

  • Explore all available graduate courses by consulting the resource below.
  • To find out which courses are available online and/or when they are running, please email schedule@mtu.edu or registrar@mtu.edu.

If you are an enrolled student,

  • Go to your Self Service Registration Portal.
  • Hit the "Browse Classes" Link.
  • From the drop-down menu, select a term for class search.
  • Enter your criteria and then hit the Search button at the bottom of the page.

Registering For Classes

Once you are enrolled as a student at Michigan Tech, you can register for online courses during your scheduled registration window. Download the registration priority schedule for more information.

To register for classes and much more, visit the Student Self-Service Registration Portal, which contains all the information you need.

  • prepare for registration, such as viewing registration status, updating student term data, and completing pre-registration requirements
