Commencement Rehearsal

Thursday, April 29, 2027, at 1:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room in the SDC. Graduate students should arrive at 12:45 p.m.

Commencement Ceremony Options and Deadlines

Michigan Tech's Graduate Commencement ceremony is held at the end of the spring semester. Graduate students have two ceremony options to choose from. Graduate students who are on track to complete their degree in the summer or fall may participate in the spring ceremony prior to graduation, or defer to a future spring ceremony.

• Spring 2027: Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2027.
• Spring 2028: Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 28, 2028.

Students who have completed a Graduation Application and have indicated that they may participate in commencement will need to register for Commencement by the deadlines noted below. Their Academic Audit contains information and a link to the application. 

The Commencement Team provides information about the commencement ceremony to the Michigan Tech email and personal email in the months leading up to the ceremony. Please make sure your personal email is up-to-date in Experience.
