Current Michigan Tech students who wish to earn credit from another college or university and have it transfer to Michigan Tech, may become a guest student of that other institution.
- All students should check with the guest institution to determine the requirements that are needed for admission or enrollment as a guest student.
Students from other institutions who wish to earn credit at Michigan Tech and have it transfer to their home institution may do so by applying with Undergraduate Admissions as a Non-Degree Seeking/Guest Student. Students should work with their home institution to determine the transferability of MTU courses.
Important Guest Student Information
- If you are a Michigan Tech senior and plan to take courses off campus, check with your academic advisor or the Registrar’s Office to ensure that you will meet the residency requirements for graduation.
