Biography
Amanda is a passionate Higher Education advocate with nine years of experience in student recruiting, advising, career services, partnership development, and administrative operations. She has also spent almost four years in customer education and team training roles, which allowed her to serve as both a resource for students and a strong collaborator across departments.
She currently serves as the Regional Director of Academic Partnerships at Michigan Technological University, where she fosters partnerships with universities, colleges, and students across the Midwest. Focused predominantly on helping undergraduate students find their best fit for graduate studies at Michigan Tech, Amanda serves all graduate areas of study, including MTU's engineering, H-STEM, and business programs.
With a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and ongoing graduate studies in Career and Workforce Education, Amanda has an approach that is deeply rooted in empathy and equity. She has dedicated her academic and professional journey to understanding and addressing the sociocultural and economic barriers that impact student success. Her mission is to help create a more attainable, affordable, and inclusive education system, one that truly serves every student.
