Move In Days - Returning Students

Returning students follow a different process for move-in than new students. This helps new students get acquainted with campus in an organized manner, and allows more flexibility for returning student move-in.

Wednesday August 26, 2026: 10 a.m.8 p.m.

Thursday August 27, 2026: 10 a.m.8 p.m.

Friday August 28, 2026: 10 a.m.8 p.m.

Saturday August 29, 2026: 10 a.m.8 p.m.

Sunday August 30, 2026: 10 a.m.8 p.m.

Moving In

Returning students are not permitted to move-in on Monday, August 24, or Tuesday, August 25. These dates are reserved specifically for new students.

Returning students will pick up their residence hall keys at their designated residence hall reception desk. Daniell Heights contract holders will go to the Wadsworth Hall Reception Desk. Any student who arrives on or after the first day of class on Monday, August 31 will need to check in at the Wadsworth Hall reception desk.

Early Arrivals

Some students are required to arrive early to the University.

Residence Education and Housing Services Staff Members:
If you are a Resident Assistant, Operations Assistant, OTL, Desk Staff member or other Residence Education and Housing Services staff member, please follow the instructions of your supervisor for your scheduled arrival date and time.

Student Athletes:
If you are a student athlete and you are required by the University to arrive early in accordance with NCAA regulations impacting fall sport practice schedules, you will need to follow your coach's arrival instructions.  Please arrive at your scheduled date and time.  If you are unsure of your scheduled date and time, please contact your coach.

Please note: only athletes in select sports are permitted early move-in.  Unapproved athletes who arrive ahead of their scheduled date and time will not be permitted to move in to their rooms. Early-arriving athletes are advised that the residential dining halls will not be open for normal business before August 23.  Early arriving athletes will need to follow their coach's instructions regarding meal service.
