Daniell Heights Apartments

Daniell Heights is a diverse residential community, home to residents from dozens of nationalities and languages. It primarily serves graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, academic and university staff, faculty, and their families.

With its close proximity to campus, apartment-style living, and affordable rates, Daniell Heights Apartments are a popular housing option for Michigan Tech students. Designed with energy and resource efficiency in mind, Daniell Heights was one of the first student residences in Michigan to achieve LEED Gold Certification. Recent renovations, completed in 2019, provide residents with an updated and modern living experience.

Located along the 1800, 1900, 2000, and 2100 blocks of Woodmar Drive, Daniell Heights offers one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. Each unit includes a kitchen, private bathroom, bedroom(s), and living room. Monthly rent covers all major utilities, including cable, internet, heat, electricity, sewer, and refuse. Laundry facilities are available in each building, and a shared Community Room is located in Upper Daniell Heights for resident use.

A free university shuttle service provides convenient transportation throughout the Houghton and Hancock area.
