Whether you have a quick question or need extensive technical support, Michigan Tech IT is here to take care of your IT needs.

Service Management

Service Management contains the customer support division of Michigan Tech IT. We provide walk-in, phone, and in-room support to make sure you can connect to the technologies you need as you complete your academic work.

We support the desktops and laptops of every faculty and staff on campus, as well as all the kiosks and public workstations on campus.

The Service Management staff understands that not being able to access these technologies can be frustrating and are deeply committed to quickly resolving any problems or questions should they arise.

Library and IT Service Center

Have a quick question for IT Help? You can speak face-to-face with an IT staff member. The Library and IT Service Center is located on the first floor of The Van Pelt and Opie Library near the main entrance. If a staff member cannot resolve your problem quickly, he/she will help you create a support ticket with Michigan Tech IT.

The Michigan Tech IT Support Center is a site where you can get instant solutions to common IT issues. You can search by topic and find answers to questions such as:

  • How do I connect to my M: drive?
  • How do I connect to the wireless network?
  • How do I install the VPN client on my computer?
