The Media and Web Specialist will help with content management of Michigan Tech IT’s knowledge base, public-facing website, and other marketing-related tasks. Your regular duties will include maintaining current Michigan Tech IT web content for consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. You will also design promotional material for IT’s events and awareness campaigns. The IT Operations Manager, working with the Director of IT Operations, is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational integrity of the technology and services provided by the Operations group at Michigan Technological University. They will lead teams of IT professionals covering multiple areas focusing on the security, stability, and performance of our systems and services.
As a System Administrator within the Information Technology Enterprise Application Services group, you will be focused on maintenance and deployment of Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers running the administrative applications of the University. These servers support software which include, but are not limited to, Ellucian Banner ERP, Campus Card System, Research Microscopes, Sponsored Research Proposal Tracking and the Bookstore.
