Walk-in Hours

Walk-in appointments are available in the Fall and Spring Semesters, Monday–Friday, 1–3 p.m. at our Center in Administration Building Room 301. These 30-minute sessions are first-come, first-served and based on counselor availability.

Walk-in appointments are intended for time-sensitive, emergent concerns. If we are unable to accomodate you for an immediate walk-in appointment, 24/7 virtual counseling is available through Mantra Health.

If you are currently experiencing a mental health emergency: Enter the Mantra Health app on your phone and indicate you have an emergency. You will be connected to a licensed counselor. Alternately, if on campus, call Public Safety at 906-487-2216, or dial 911. Other places to get help: The emergency department at U.P. Health--Portage (the hospital in Hancock) or dial 988 to access the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
