Proposal to Shelve Degree Program: Graduate Certificate in Mechatronics

Fall 2020

3. Plan to complete all enrolled and returning students
There is currently one student enrolled in the program and classes will be offered on their typical schedule allowing the student to fulfill the certificate requirements.

4. Reason for shelving
Lack of student interest due to 15 credits requirement. Instead, 3 stackable, 9-credits graduate certificates, leading to MS degree in Mechatronics are tentatively scheduled to be introduced in the Fall of 2021.

5. Financial impact (if any) to the department and university
There are no known financial impacts to the department and the University.
