Proposal to Shelve Degree Program: Graduate Certificate in Sustainability

3. Plan to complete all enrolled and returning students
There are currently several students enrolled in the program. The Sustainable Futures
Institute will continue to advise enrolled students and teach certificate courses
(or equivalent replacement courses) until all students graduate or transfer to a new
certificate being proposed.
4. Reason for shelving
The Sustainable Futures Institute was not renewed and we are transitioning the IGCS
to a 9- credit stackable certificate.
5. Financial impact (if any) to the department and university
There are no known financial impacts to the Sustainable Futures Institute or to the
University.
