Get an Earlier Decision When You Apply to Michigan State University for Medical School
MSU College of Human Medicine has partnered with Michigan Tech to provide early assurance
of medical school admission (February as opposed to June) for selected Michigan Tech
Pre-Health Program students! The MSU Early Assurance Program (EAP) program is for
undergraduate students interested in becoming a physician in an underserved region
or students interested in working with the underserved population.
Juniors and Seniors are open to apply. Preference for EAP admission will be given
to Michigan Tech students who are the first generation in their families to attend
college, or graduated from a low-income high school, are eligible for need-based grants,
and to those who express interest in a high-need medical specialty area. Students
will be selected for interviews in March and can be accepted as early as July.
Improve Your Chances of Getting a Physical Therapy Doctorate From Central Michigan University Without Leaving Houghton
Michigan Technological University and Central Michigan University (CMU) partner to
offer the CMU doctorate of physical therapy program on Michigan Tech’s Campus! Under
this Articulation Agreement with CMU, six seats are reserved for Michigan Tech students
who meet admission requirements (NOTE: two of the seats are eligible for study on
CMU’s main campus). Minimum requirements to apply to this program are subject to change.
Get a Physician's Assistant Degree From Central Michigan University
Michigan Technological University and Central Michigan University (CMU) partner to offer the Physician Assistant—MS! This 27-month program offers an in-depth curriculum and extensive clinical training. Under this articulation agreement with CMU, two Michigan Tech students who meet admission requirements are guaranteed an interview each year. Minimum requirements to apply to this program are subject to change.
Priority Admission for Tech Graduates to Concordia University's Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program
Study in this hybrid program featuring a minimum of 51% of total instruction delivered through distance education. Concordia University (Wisconsin) gives Michigan Tech students who meet admission requirements priority admission into their doctorate of occupational therapy program! Minimum requirements to apply to this program are subject to change.
Get a Doctor of Pharmacy From Ferris State University (FSU)
Ferris State University reserves up to five seats to qualified Michigan Tech students in FSU's PharmD or PharmD/MPH program, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Michigan Tech students must meet admission requirements. Minimum requirements to apply to this program are subject to change.
