Introduction

Michigan Tech understands the immense value that international experiences offer our faculty and staff, whether through research, conferences, group travel, or other professional endeavors. We also acknowledge that international travel can present various health and safety challenges. While individual travelers bear significant responsibility for their well-being abroad, Michigan Tech is committed to supporting the health and safety of all faculty and staff traveling internationally on University-related business.

All faculty and staff are required to comply with applicable University policies and procedures related to international travel. Additionally, units sponsoring international travel are responsible for ensuring their travelers are fully informed of these procedures and the related policies and procedures.
