About Us
The Michigan Tech Transportation Institute (MTTI) is a multidisciplinary organization conducting a wide range of transportation focused activities including research, education and training, outreach, product development and technology transfer.
Currently, 69 principal investigators from 20 departments and colleges participate in MTTI sponsored activities.
History
Established in 2002, MTTI was originally formed as a link between Michigan Tech researchers and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Today, MTTI membership is available for all campus researchers and offers faculty and staff a venue for networking, funding opportunities for members, and project management support.
As of FY17, MTTI has been awarded over $51,135,564 in external funding for its transportation related activities and research.
