Biography

Dr. Mullins' teaching interests focus on active and engaged, interactive settings. He works to facilitate learning and success with students, focusing on nourishing the whole person. His research interests center the understandings of learning, teaching, and better preparation for future faculty. His current research projects are related to his dissertation work in building better teaching programs for graduate students and leveraging qualitative research methods. Outside of work, Dr. Mullins is an avid cat parent, enjoys video games, board games, and reading fantasy novels with rigorous magic systems. He also enjoys long walks in the snow, cozy evenings spent reading by a fire, and spending time with friends.
