ESC Student Travel Grants

The Ecosystem Science Center (ESC) is pleased to announce the availability of Student Travel  Grants. The goal of these grants is to assist with the costs of travel either to:

  1. national & international scientific meetings to present research (posters or talks) related to the interests of the Center or
  2. to attend a short course to learn new skills not available at MTU.  (As a rule, conference sessions do not qualify as short courses and past grant recipients have typically attended 1-2 week long intensive courses offered independent of conferences.)

The grants are open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Funding is limited and awards are determined based on the appropriateness of the request and availability of remaining funds in the current fiscal year.
