Certified Reviewer Training

Every academic department that offers online courses will want to have several certified online course reviewers.

The CFE will cover the registration fee for those who successfully complete reviewer training. If you are interested in serving as a peer reviewer, please follow the steps below to register for the Applying the QM Rubric training course:

Go to the Quality Matters (QM) Portal to log-in.

• You can create a MyQM password on this same page if you are a new user.

You can search for training on the MyQM portal once you log-in, or from the public listing. Use the following selections to find the correct course:

• Use "Filter by Training Type" to select "Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR)"
  • The above APPQMR course option is online (asynchronous) and runs for 2 weeks.
  • The "Applying the QM Rubric (Virtual) (APPQMR)" option in the drop down menu is a synchronous/live course that runs over 1-2 days.
• Click the "Filter" button
• Choose the start date you want from the list of available sessions.
  • The public listing of sessions automatically shows all scheduled sessions. The MyQM portal search defaults to the next month, but you can use "Filter by Start Date" to view a larger date range.
• Click the Register link to complete the registration process.

The next page will show the details for the selected session. Verify that the session dates and format (e.g., Online) are correct.

Michigan Tech is an institutional QM member so the registration fee is $220.00.

To pay the registration fee:

• choose "Invoice" as your method of payment
• and enter PO# PO113553 in the appropriate field.

After you complete the Applying the QM Rubric course, please email your Certificate to Jessica Hendrickson.

Upon receipt of the Certificate of Completion, the CFE will pay your registration fee.
