Biography

Captain Justin P. Casey is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Detachment 400, Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Michigan.  He is responsible for the force generation efforts of the detachment, along with the overall education, training, and development of approximately 80 cadets as they prepare to become Air Force officers.

 Captain Casey enlisted into the Air Force in October 2005 and later attended Air Force Officer Training School, receiving his commission in March 2013. His background includes various and diverse administrative and leadership duties, along with contingency tours at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (2009) and as the Director of Operations for the 332d Expeditionary Force Support Squadron in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE (2019-2020).  Prior to his current position, Captain Casey was the Military Personnel Flight Commander at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
