Rebecca graduated from Tech in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Upon leaving Tech she worked at Kaman Aerospace in Broomfield, CT for two years. She then took a position with Sikorsky Aircraft and remained with Sikorsky as a consultant while starting Ufkes Engineering after a move to South Carolina in 1990. Maurice "Morry" M. Taylor (BSME ’68) was first employed by General Motors as a mechanical engineer in Saginaw. A few years later he joined Morweld Steel Products and, in 1972, became part owner of the American Steel Impact Corp. in Detroit. Then, in 1974, he started Maurice Taylor & Associates and was a representative for steel products manufacturers. In 1983, Morry became President/CEO of CanAM Industries. . . .

After graduating from Tech in 1995, Nathalie held her first job within the automotive industry, where she traveled to auto plants installing laser cameras as "eyes" for robots that installed windshields, back windows and roofs for multiple OEMs. In 2000, she entered into the energy industry as a field tech installing hydrogen fuel cell engines into demo cars. Tom Walker earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1962. He spent eight years with General Motors, then joined Volkswagen of America in 1976 as general superintendent of the assembly plant in New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
