Vice Chairman, Board of Directors, Atlas-Copco Robbins, Inc. Richard J. Robbins graduated from the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (MCM amp;T) in 1956 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Eric A. Nielsen earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980 at Michigan Tech and went on to earn an MBA-Finance & International Business, at the University of Chicago in 1988. William Turunen

William Turunen '39

Bill Turunen joined General Motors in 1939, after graduating from Michigan Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After four years with the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-46 and earning a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 1946, he spent his career in various capacities at the GM research laboratories before retiring in 1979.
