A Workshop for Faculty Mentors
The Guiding Growth workshop is designed to help faculty develop skills for effectively mentoring graduate students, junior faculty, and peers. The program provides an opportunity for both new and senior faculty to work with a community of peers to enhance their ability to guide and support others as they navigate their academic career. The workshop includes four 90-minute sessions and is offered during the spring semester. Check back for Spring 2027 dates.
Faculty who complete the workshop will have an opportunity to participate in a Faculty Mentoring Professional Learning Community (PLC) the following fall. Faculty who complete both the Guiding Growth workshop and the PLC activities can earn an Effective Mentorship digital badge.
