2026

Greetings and welcome to Design Expo 2026!

Design Expo is more than an annual showcase, it is a powerful expression of what happens when students are trusted with real problems, real partners, and real responsibility.  Each year, more than 1,000 students from our Senior Design and Enterprise Teams come together to showcase their ideas, ingenuity, and impact.

The projects on display represent months, and often years, of collaboration, iteration, and perseverance.  Our students design, build, test, and refine solutions across a wide range of industries and disciplines.  They confront ambiguity. They work through setbacks. They balance innovation with constraints. They listen to stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and learn to lead. These experiences prepare them not only to enter the workforce, but to lead it.

Design Expo is also a celebration of partnership.  The success of these programs is made possible by dedicated faculty mentors, committed staff, and industry partners who invest their time, expertise, and resources in our students.  Your engagement strengthens our academic mission and helps ensure our graduates are prepared to meet the evolving needs of their professions and communities.

As you explore Design Expo 2026, we invite you to look beyond the prototypes and presentations. See the growth. See the leadership. See the future taking form. The ideas on display today are seeds of what comes next: for these students, for their industries, and for the communities they will serve.

Albert Einstein reminded us, “Learning is experience. Everything else is just information.” Today, you will see experience in action: ideas tested, solutions refined, and futures being built.

We are proud of their work. We are confident in their potential. And we are inspired by the future they are already building.

Thank you for being part of Design Expo 2026.  We hope you leave energized, impressed, and inspired.

And as always, Go Huskies!
