Career Services is working in close collaboration with the Essential Education to develop templates and workbooks to be deployed via Husky Folio (on the PebblePad platform). As these become available, we will list examples and provide guidance on integrating them here.
In the meantime, if you have ideas for workbooks or templates that you would find useful, send us a note at career@mtu.edu so that we can start a conversation.
Of course, creating novel material takes extra bandwidth that you may not always have. If you don’t see the topic you want, simply ask! We are happy to collaborate with you to build something that makes the most sense for your students.
Many departments also welcome alumni or other corporate recruiters to speak in class. While Career Services does not presently do 1-to-1 matching of interested parties, we are certainly happy to help when we are able to. If you have a corporate connection that you plan to invite into the classroom, let us know! It helps our office understand the rich network of involvement that our alumni stay connected with, and the many ways in which they give back to current Huskies.
