Special request, off-cycle, and non-routine services include any additional or supplemental services that are beyond the scope of Custodial Services routine work outlined above. Off-cycle cleaning services can be scheduled with the building’s Facilities Manager. Requests will be handled on a first come, first serve basis, and prioritized based on the critical nature of the request.
- Any cleaning service in excess of standard frequencies
- Construction project cleaning, or deep-cleaning of renovated spaces
- Cleaning of appliances (e.g. refrigerators, stoves, in staff/faculty kitchen areas) and special laboratories
- Carpet cleaning beyond routine schedule
Requests for services should be submitted through the department's work request system. Work requests should include details regarding the services needed or maintenance issues, location information, and preferred time of completion. Please provide 2-3 weeks advance notice for off-cycle cleaning services.
