Philip Watters received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1969 and then joined the Exxon Chemical Company. During his years at Exxon, Philip earned an MBA from the University of Houston in 1972. Philip has spent his career working on various aspects of the business in the field of petrochemical and energy industry. In 1986, he joined Resource Planning Consultants first as vice president and then as president. Philip joined Rimkus Consulting Group in 1989 and served as senior vice president for 30 years. In this role, he provided litigation support for attorneys and corporate counsels, assisted in contract negotiation, and settling contract and claims disputes. Consulting projects included environmental remediation, underground storage tanks, and industrial hygiene investigations. Philip assumed responsibilities as principal consultant in their environmental division in 2019. In this role, he has provided environmental engineering services for a wide array of cases involving releases of hazardous wastes or toxic substances, sampling soil and ground water, developing remedial strategies, and economic analysis.

Philip is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, LEED accredited professional, and a formerly licensed mold assessment consultant. He and his wife Lynne are gardening enthusiasts and used the COVID pandemic to fully immerse in their gardening.
