Members of the Distinguished Academy are associates of the Michigan Tech Department of Chemical Engineering whose careers have been marked by extraordinary accomplishments or exemplary service to the profession. Inductees are nominated by department faculty, both current and emeritus, and approved by consensus. Academy members are selected to be role models of accomplishment for our undergraduate and graduate students.
