S-STEM Team

Summer Bridge Course

This summer bridge course, led by dedicated faculty and supported by experienced peer mentors and the STEM Success Coordinator, is designed to help students transition smoothly into college life. These courses focus on developing effective study habits, reinforcing key math concepts, and introducing strategies for maintaining mental health and personal resilience. As a key component of the S-STEM program, these courses also emphasize community-building through peer mentorship. Upper-level students serve as mentors, offering guidance on navigating academic challenges and campus life, while fostering a strong sense of connection and belonging within the Michigan Tech community.
