The Distinguished Lecture Series started in Fall 2016, honors faculty for their research impact. Distinguished Lecturers are selected for their ability to increase the knowledge of our community by connecting their research with societal and community concerns. Topics are broad spanning all colleges and schools at Michigan Tech.
We want to feature you and other researchers from across campus, so nominate a colleague or nominate yourself; self-nominations
are encouraged! Topics are completely open and occasionally organized around a theme.
Nominate yourself or a colleague for a future Research Forum presentation.
Dear Colleagues,
Each semester we will host two Research Forum lectures to highlight the work of outstanding Michigan Tech faculty. At each session, you will have an opportunity to seed collaborative discussions, form partnerships, and garner feedback and awareness. There will be time to mingle and to promote camaraderie, community and collaborations.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
