Policy Review & Approval Process

Initial Determination
Consult with your Director or Chair to determine whether a new policy or procedure is needed. - If, Revising a Current Policy
Download the current policy and redline with deletion and suggested changes. -
Draft Development
If a policy is warranted, use the template to create a draft policy/procedure. -
Director/Chair Review
Once the draft is complete, the Director/Chair submits it to the Vice President for your area. -
Executive Review & Approval
The Vice President, in collaboration with the President’s Council and the President, reviews and approves the policy. -
Publication
After final approval, the policy is published on the website.
Note: Policies related to the Board of Trustees must be submitted through the Secretary to the Board of Trustees and are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.
