Media Systems Engineer
As a member of the Media Technology Services team, the Media Systems Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, procurement, installation, programming, implementation, maintenance, support, and periodic operation of University media technology systems. The systems include Crestron and Extron controlled audio/visual systems, video streaming systems, IP video production facilities, digital signage systems and DSP enabled audio systems in classrooms, conference rooms, entertainment venues and research facilities. As a member of the Enterprise Application Services team, within Information Technology, the position will assume a meaningful role in supporting the Oracle-based Ellucian Banner system and other administrative applications running on multiple hardware and software platforms. You will work closely with clients and peers to apply systems analysis and design techniques to analyze and evaluate business and/or educational needs. Senior System Administrator
As a System Administrator within the Information Technology Enterprise Application Services group, you will be focused on maintenance and deployment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows servers running the administrative applications of the University. These servers support software which include, but are not limited to, Ellucian Banner ERP, Campus Card System, Research Microscopes, Sponsored Research Proposal Tracking, WebFOCUS and the Bookstore ERP/point of sale.
