As the Senior IT Security Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering and execution of security controls for University systems to meet our strategies as set by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), IT leadership team, and other University or regulatory bodies. You will work closely with IT areas ensuring our controls are implemented properly and will provide security analysis and design assistance. You will coordinate with the Security Analyst to correct or mitigate any deﬁciencies identiﬁed in the system. This position works with the CISO to ensure that risks have been properly identiﬁed and mitigated. Additionally, this role will assist the CISO in determining the University's security goals and policies. The System Administrators in our Windows team are responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, security, and performance of a large number of Windows workstations and servers. As a member of our Windows team you will also maintain the systems and services related to authentication (AD/Kerberos), configuration management (SCCM), patch management (WSUS), and application packaging and distribution.
