MTU junior- and senior-level students majoring in Software EngineeringComputer ScienceCybersecurityComputer Network and System AdministrationElectrical EngineeringComputer Engineering, and related programs are especially encouraged to participate.

Michigander EV & Mobility Tech Scholars

Through a series of seminars, networking events, company tours, and more, the Michigander EV & Mobility Tech Scholars program directly connects Michigan Tech students with representatives from select Michigan companies in the EV and mobility tech industry. Students will build professional connections one-on-one through networking opportunities that may lead to internships, jobs, and even careers. Successful EV & Mobility Tech Scholars will qualify for up to $10,0001 in scholarship dollars upon acceptance of a qualifying job in Michigan’s EV industry; a $5,0001 scholarship is available for those accepting qualifying internships (up to $10,000) in Michigan’s EV & mobility tech industry.

The Michigander EV & Mobility Tech Scholars program is presented at Michigan Tech by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the College of Computing. EV Scholars is an initiative of the Talent Action Team, a public/private consortium convened by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
