Student Organizations are a huge part of campus life at Michigan Tech. So huge that there are over 220 orgs for nearly 7,000 students. If you do the math, that’s about one org for every 31 students!
Get involved from everything from national organizations like the Society of Women Engineers or Blue Key National Honor Society, club sport teams like ice hockey—men’s and women’s—or the paintball club. Go Greek by pledging a fraternity or sorority. Or get involved in improving the campus and local community through service organizations. Whatever your interest, there’s a club that’s right for you!
We’ve got just about every type of student org you can think of, including:
- Arts and culture
- Club sports
- Committees and Initiatives
- Greek life
- Programming and social
- Student life
Learn more by checking out Involvement Link through our Student Activities office—yep, a whole office of professional staff and student leaders here help you get involved on campus and in the community.
Have an interest we don’t have a club or org for? No problem! Just start one of your own. You can even apply for University funding to help with your initiatives. All you need is a new idea—crazy smart or not—plus ten founding members, an advisor, and a constitution. Our student activities staff can help you with the rest.
