Apply to Michigan Tech

It’s free to apply to Michigan Tech. We encourage you to apply by April 1 for our fall semester (August start) and September 1 for our spring semester (January start).

Life at Tech

Michigan Tech is located in Houghton, Michigan—a small college town in the heart of the Keweenaw Peninsula on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our campus, ranked among the safest in the US, is situated just miles from Lake Superior and provides year-round opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Up here, Huskies find their stride. They create the future by day and watch the northern lights with friends by night. Trust us—you’ll never be bored. Whatever your thing is, you’ll find your people and do it together.
