The Class Tribute program offers you the opportunity to publicly recognize and honor someone who has played a special role in your life and in your Michigan Tech education, while supporting student scholarships. Proceeds from the Class Tribute program fund a scholarship for an incoming student in the fall.
A tribute is a great way to say thanks to
- mom and dad,
- a spouse,
- a favorite professor or advisor,
- a good friend or roommate,
- a campus student group, or
- someone else who has had an impact on your time at Tech.
For $10, you can have a person or group, and your tribute to them, printed in the commencement program and displayed — along with a picture if you choose — on the arena video board. The program becomes a keepsake for both you and those recognized, and all proceeds from the program are used to support scholarships for incoming students. Spring graduates will also have their tributes (along with a photo if they choose) displayed on the ice arena's video scoreboard.
As a first generation college grad, thank you for always believing in me, Mom, Dad, and Jesse!
Mom, you never gave up on me and look how far I have come. Thanks for all your love and support.
Congratulations to my roommates Madhura and Anusha. Much love and thanks. You girls rock!
