Welcome to Michigan Tech's Online Training Center
Michigan Tech is strongly committed to providing all our employees with a safe and healthy workplace. Training is the cornerstone that ensures you are aware of health responsibilities, safety guidelines, and accident prevention procedures. Many activities that take place in the course of University operations, research, and academia require specialized instruction on how these activities can be conducted safely and with minimal exposure to workplace hazards. Michigan Tech's Online Training Center is a valuable tool to help you work safely and create a safe working environment for all. Michigan Tech employees are required to participate in the University's safety training program.
- All employees are expected to complete the Michigan Tech Basic Safety Awareness module on an annual basis, as well as any departmental-specific training requirements.
- Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that their employees receive the training they need.
Michigan Tech is committed to providing workers with continued training and education to meet their job requirements.
