Group Bicycle Rides

Helmets required on all rides. Bring water, riding food and appropriate clothing. No headphones.

Riders are requested to practice Social Distancing and mask as appropriate

MONDAY

  • Keweenaw Trekkers - Starts May 3.  Mtn bike ride on single track trails. Ability level: intermediate or higher. No drop rides. Riders are grouped into similar ability levels with a guide. Ride length: 1 ½ hrs. Location changes weekly. Start time: 6 pm. Contact Dan Dalquist at 906-370-2206 or ddalquist@gmail.com.
  • MTU Cycling Club - mountain bike ride. Starts in Sept. See cycling.mtu.edu.

TUESDAY

  • Red Jacket Cycling Club - weekly road ride. Ride length: 1 ½ - 2 hours. Rides will be at a fast pace (17 mph or faster).

WEDNESDAY

  • Cross Country Sports  shop ride - guided mountain or road bike ride. No-drop. 

Ability level: intermediate or higher. Grouped by similar ability levels. Ride length: 1 ½ hours - 2 hours. Bring $$ for occasional post ride snack stop. Location changes weekly. Start Time: 6:30 pm. Check facebook.com/CrossCountrySports or call 906-337-4520 to verify ride type and start location.

THURSDAY

SATURDAY

  • Road Riders. Ability level: intermediate or higher. Guided No-drop rides. Start time: 9 am. 

Ride length: 2-3 hours. Longer rides will have alternate shorter route. 

Average speed 14-15 mph. Location changes weekly.

Due to the flooding that occurred on Fathers Day, there are a lot of bike routes that are not open. We'll do our best to keep this map updated. Please check back for updates as cycling routes start to open up again.
