Biography

Dr. Hand has 36 years’ experience in industry with expertise in Reactive Problem Solving, Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma and variation reduction, engineering quality and statistical analysis. She has taught numerous courses for fortune 500 companies in problem resolution and six sigma. Dr. Hand has experience in the chemical industry, wood and wood products and 25 years in automotive. She has established industry testing requirements and quality improvements.  Dr. Hand developed and taught courses  in lean six sigma and reactive problem analysis. She holds a BSEE, MBA and MSIE as well as a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University which focuses on big data set analysis and quality improvements in warranty analysis.
