Advanced Power Systems, known as APS LABS, is one of six Research Institutes at Michigan Technological University, a leading R1 research University. We operate as a professionally staffed research and engineering department reporting directly to the Vice President of Research, and focused on solving real world problems. It is important to us to earn the trust of our clients and partners, so our projects are led and executed by experienced scientists, engineers, and technicians. Our access to other experts and resources throughout the university, combined with our structure, allows us to combine academic depth with industry-grade execution, confidentiality, and responsiveness. We are built to deliver creative, effective solutions under aggressive timelines and complex technical constraints.
