Your doctor probably recommends (or requests) physical therapy (PT) to help healing. What if there were a technology that could shave a few weeks off of your PT time so you could get back on the board faster? This could soon be possible with “smart” implantable devices and cell therapy, two lines of research at the cutting edge of biomedical engineering.

Yesterday - Wednesday evening at 7:30: The Social Justice Lecture Series continues with Reverend Sharon Washington Risher. Reverend Risher was catapulted into the limelight after her mother and eight others were killed in the Charleston, South Carolina shooting at the Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2015. Reverend Risher’s talks cover her personal experience losing loved ones to gun violence, race, racism and hate in America, as well as the path to forgiveness and an offering of hope for tomorrow. This lecture is free, however tickets are required.
