Accelerated Master's Programs

Current Michigan Tech undergraduate students can earn a MS degree in just a single year of study beyond their BS through the accelerated master's program.

The following programs offer an accelerated master's degree:

Students need to apply prior to completing their undergraduate degree in order to be eligible for the accelerated master's programs.

OSM / VISTA and Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Programs

Office of Surface Mining (OSM) / VISTA and Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Programs combine academic study with supervised, practical field experience and research. Students interested in these programs should select this as their and an area of interest on their application and apply to one of the following programs:

Negotiated Agreements (Dual Degree / Exchange Programs)

Michigan Tech partners in negotiated agreements for international dual degrees and international exchange programs. We also have a variety of domestic partnerships, which allow our students to expand their opportunities for graduate education.

Graduate Certificate Programs

Graduate certificates can be obtained concurrently with a graduate degree or can be obtained by students who have completed an undergraduate degree.
