Academic Advising

Every Michigan Tech student is assigned an academic advisor who helps guide their course choices and career path. In addition to meeting with their advisor, our Scholars meet regularly with program staff for regular check-ins on their academic standing, community service hours, and general progress at Michigan Tech.

"At Michigan Tech, Thompson Scholars don’t just receive support, they build their future. This program is about more than financial aid; it’s about empowering students from Michigan’s working families to thrive academically, grow in community, and graduate with purpose."Nicole Piazza, Director of the Thompson Scholar Program
