Scholarship Eligibility
Michigander Scholars scholarships are awarded to students accepting internships or jobs with participating employers. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Specifically, $5,0001 will be awarded to students who accept an internship with a Michigander Scholars core employer in Michigan and commit to completing the full internship; $10,0001 will be awarded to students who accept a full-time position with a Michigander Scholars core employer in Michigan and commit to remaining in the role for one year. Internships include approved Senior Design, Enterprise, and Resident Internships.

Internship Offer
Students must:
- be a current sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at Michigan Tech.
- indicate they have accepted an internship offer in a qualifying position or are registered for an approved Senior Design or Enterprise.
- indicate that the accepted internship is with a Michigander Scholars core employer.
- indicate that the accepted internship is based in the state of Michigan.
- sign a letter of intent indicating their commitment to completing the full internship.
- be an active member of the Michigander Scholars program at Michigan Tech.
Post-Graduation Offer
Students must:
- be a graduating undergraduate or graduate student at Michigan Tech.
- indicate they have accepted a full-time job offer in a qualifying position.
- indicate that the accepted job offer is with a Michigander Scholars core employer.
- indicate that the accepted job offer is based in the state of Michigan.
- sign a letter of intent indicating their commitment to remaining in the role, in Michigan, for one year.
- be an active member of the Michigander Scholars program at Michigan Tech.
