Instrument Details
The DELTA V Plus is an isotope-ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) manufactured by Thermo
Scientific (part of Thermo Fisher).
It is designed to measure stable isotope ratios in gases derived from sample preparation
systems.
Available peripherals are the Flash IRMS EA IsoLink OH, Flash IRMS EA IsoLink CN, GasBench II, and PreCon.
Capabilities
The isotope ratio mass spectrometer measures stable light isotopes in water, air and organic samples.
Analysis options:
- 13C and 15N in solid organic samples
- 2H and 18O in water samples
- 2H and 18O in solid organic samples
- 13CO2 in air
- 13CH4 in air
