Study abroad is an investment. Doing your funding homework to find scholarships is relatively simple and can pay off handsomely by covering a portion of your expenses.

Rainbow Scholarship

The Rainbow Scholarship awards deserving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) students who aim to participate in high-quality, rigorous education abroad programs. To be considered for the Rainbow Scholarship, applicants must self-identify on the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) scholarship application.

If you’re accepted into this program, which includes a worldwide array of fellowships, internships, and study abroad programs from Berlin to Chile you’ll automatically receive a scholarship application.

Kalu Yala Scholarship

This scholarship is for current university students that are not in their final semester. To apply write a 500-word essay on their chosen topic. This scholarship is awarded to one person by the end of December and it is worth $1000. 

Fund for Education Abroad

Up to $10,000 per semester may be awarded to a student planning academically rigorous studies abroad. Strong preference is given to underrepresented students.

Foundation for Global Scholars

US citizens studying abroad may qualify for $2,000 scholarships.
