The Frontiers Research Institute (FRI), in collaboration with the Sponsored Programs Office, has developed a streamlined process for handling service orders.
For Michigan Tech Employees: To initiate a service order, simply complete the FRI Service Intake Form. The information you provide will allow the FRI administration team to prepare all required materials, including the budget, budget justification, statement of work, Cayuse record, and service order form. With this new process, you no longer need to submit an Intent to Submit Form. Instead, the FRI administration team will manage the processing and routing on your behalf.
Please note, if you are conducting research then you must fill out the Intent to Submit Form instead.
For External Organizations and Entities: If you are an external organization or individual interested in requesting services from Michigan Tech, please contact fri-serviceorders-l@mtu.edu for assistance. The FRI administration team will guide you through the appropriate process.
The FRI Service Order Intake Form is intended for use only by Michigan Tech employees affiliated with the Frontiers Research Institute. External organizations and individuals should contact FRI directly using the email address provided above.
