Within Corporate and Foundation relations, the Foundation Relations office is a campus-wide resource. We are here to support faculty, staff, and administrators who are interested in developing relationships with corporate, national, and local foundations. Because every organization is different, we function as a guide for you through their processes as well as University processes, as needed.
When to Contact Us
The sooner you let us know about your endeavor, the more support we can provide in navigating both foundation and internal processes. The timeline for each project will vary based on project scope, funder timeline, and other variables. Here's an example of an ideal timeline:
What Our Involvement Looks Like
If you are interested in applying for funding from any foundation, fund, or alliance who isn't listed here, reach out to us to let us know. Begin with the Intent to Submit form and utilize the Resources page to prepare your proposal. We are happy to provide guidance and assistance to position your proposal for acceptance. Based on the dollar amount of your proposal, you can expect these levels of involvement from the Foundation Relations team:
