Eligibility

Scholarship Eligibility

EV Scholarships are awarded to students accepting internships or jobs with participating employers on a first come first serve basis. Specifically, $5,0001 will be awarded to junior-level students who accept an internship with an EV Scholar employer in MI and commit to completing the full internship; $10,0001 will be awarded to senior-level students who accept a full time position with an EV Scholar employer in MI and commit to remaining in the role for one year.

Internship Offer

Students must:

  • Be a current junior/third year student in a bachelor's program at the university
  • Indicate they have accepted an internship offer as an Electrical Engineer or Software Developer (or synonymous job title)
  • Indicate the accepted offer is with one of EV Scholar's participating employers
  • Indicate the accepted offer will have them stationed in the state of Michigan
  • Sign a letter of intent indicating their commitment to completing the full internship
  • Be an active member of the EV Scholars program

Post-Graduation Offer

Students must:

  • Be a current graduating student in a Bachelor's program at the university
  • Indicate they have accepted a full-time job offer as an Electrical Engineer or Software Developer (or synonymous job title)
  • Indicate the accepted offer is with one of EV Scholar's participating employers
  • Indicate the accepted offer will have them stationed in the state of Michigan
  • Sign a letter of intent indicating their commitment to remaining at the role, in Michigan, for one-year
  • Be an active member of the EV Scholars program
