Step 1: Explore Enterprise Teams

Michigan Tech is home to more than 20 Enterprise teams, working on everything from autonomous vehicles and medical devices to sustainable design and innovative mining solutions.

You’ll find details about each team’s projects and the contact info for faculty advisors or team leaders.

Tip: You don’t need to be an expert. Teams love welcoming new members from all majors—and you’ll learn as you go.


Step 2: Attend Enterprise Day

Want to meet teams face-to-face? Enterprise Day is your chance to:

  • Walk through team displays

  • Ask questions

  • Explore projects

  • Connect with team members and advisors

Whether you’re ready to join or just exploring, Enterprise Day is where it all starts.

Step 3: Reach Out and Connect

Once you’ve found a team that interests you:

  1. Email the faculty advisor or team lead (info is on the Teams Page).

  2. Ask to attend a team meeting or meet with one of the team leaders.

  3. Some teams have an informal interview or application process. It’s more like a conversation to find the right fit.

Step 4: Register for ENT Credit

Once you’ve been accepted to a team:

  • Register for ENT course credit—most new members start with ENT 2950 or ENT 2960
  • Talk to your academic advisor to make sure it fits your schedule
  • You can join as early as your second semester!
