SYP Semiconductors
![]()
Each summer, students in grades 6-11 come to campus at Michigan Tech for week-long explorations. Our new SYP semiconductor sessions kicked off in summer 2025, led by ECE Professor Paul Bergstrom and his research team. A total of 34 middle and high school students took part, with scholarships funded by the MTU Electronics Hub. We’ll be offering semiconductor sessions every summer at Michigan Tech.
"I learned a lot...literally EVERYTHING was new and cool."
