Usage: Internal. If Alumni Job address seems recent to the graduation date, then it is the best predictor of where the student went, if the diploma, mailing or alumni address differs from the Parents or home address, then the most recent might be a predictor of where the student went. Starting in 2007, the Life After MTU from was modified to capture the state where a student went for a job or more education, if any were reported and Banner was modified to capture this information directly.

Usage: Internal. BCIS Term is the term that the advisor expects will be the student’s last. This allows the student to enroll for less than 9 credits but at least 1 credit and be considered a full-time student. Progress term allows supported students to drop below 9 credits and still be considered as making full-time progress. International office uses this list for INS purposes. Financial Aid uses the information for loan deferral. If BCIS term does not match expected grad term, student may have to back enroll to be full time in that term that was to be final term.

Note that the Status for most students will be IG and there will be a graduation date that indicates when the student finished that degree and left MTU. Students with "AS" and no graduation date are active in the current semester and still pursuing that degree. IS students with no grad date are inactive this semester but may still be pursuing the degree.
If there is a graduation date and the Status is something other than IG, then that student graduated with the degree listed but then planned on or started another degree which is not listed on that line and which they may or may not actually be pursuing. For instance if the Status is GQ then they quit that next degree, NE - applied/accepted but never enrolled in it.
If there is no graduation date and the Status is something other than AS or IS or GW then they left without getting the degree listed.
Some students who have an IS Status and no graduation date might have been in that status for a long while and they might not intend to finish the degree. Some are IS only because it is Summer and they don't need to be enrolled
Usage: Departments may use this for faculty vita update purposes.

Usage: The report generates a list of student who meet all of the folowing criteria:
- Started their graduate degree in fall 2008 or later

Students are reminded in their first and second semesters to complete the basic RCR course by either attending orientation or completing an online training course. In the second semester, if students do not complete the requirement, a hold is placed on their account. The column "GO Hold" shows which students have a hold on their account.
